... Winding down for the evening with one baby in my arms and my oldest baby at my side. Days like this, I only dreamt of years ago and they are now my reality, grateful is an understatement. Nevertheless, being a full-time Mom, Wife, student and career woman can be exhausting and I often feel stretched thin. For some odd reason however, I convinced myself that I was the only one who could relate to my journey. Yet, I’m finding that there are many women trying to balance the exact same things; managing the sleep deprivation with the demands of tiny tots at home alongside working around rigid superiors at the office. There is evidence that finding a workable balance is attainable, even when stressed to the max and believing that balance is some sort of magic word.

If you are reading this and think that you have to “have it all together“ or hide away in times of overwhelm, please be encouraged that we all share similarities and your blessings too come with a certain level of accountability, joy and yes, sometimes stress and lack of sleep! I hope that you continue to push through your situation, you are doing great!! Now, to tend to my toddler who stepped away to watch her iPad, fully clothed in the shower... lol

Compassionately,

Candace
