... With so much going on in the world around us and being connected to so many people; friends, family, co-workers, etc. Often times their circumstances cause us to over-analyze our own. Maybe it’s even still being fragile from unhealed wounds that cause us to believe that we will repeat the afflictions that were done to us. I certainly relate but this way of thinking isn’t beneficial to our lives, it actually stifles us and generates a fear that isn’t grounded in fact. The solution is to take a look at what influences us, how it impacts our thoughts and choose to change the narrative towards our good.
Change; “I am not good enough” to “I am great, wonderfully made and well able”. Instead of; “This relationship is going downhill” declare “Our challenges are building character and we will be stronger and better together”. I’m sure you get the gist. As the song says; “Only speak what we want to see” and even when doing so is a struggle just keep pressing forward, day by day and your thoughts, words and actions will begin to reflect the new narrative of blessing, healing, restoration, abundance and all that God has in store.
Amen,
Candace
