...With Tea!
Being a coffee drinker for most of my adult life, I found coffee as my "go-to" when needing to wake-up and start my day or even to relax. I wouldn't have thought that coffee would be the one beverage that I would let go of. Well, I found that coffee adds to my being on edge or even jittery. Those feelings weren't working for my well-being and productivity. So much caffeine started to do the opposite of what I initially drank it for.
But I found a new love!!
Tea!
Particularly, ginger tea with lemon. Teas often have caffeine too so I am mindful to drink caffeine-free tea and my experimentation with different teas has been amazing. It has brought less rigidity to my mind and a sense of calm that coffee never gave me. Now I look forward to my morning, afternoon and evening tea drinking sessions. Adding honey or creamer, is a sweet treat too.
