Heart's Well

Self-reflection is often left...

Forgotten,

Then undone.

Pointing fingers, passing judgment—

Passing, rushing, cussing,

Avoidance, fux it,

Tryna keep me from me.

I see myself, I’m good with her…

Then,

In an instance when your essence

Reminds me of all that is within me but dormant,

No need to inform

You,

When you already know (her).

Listening well,

Intriguing (me) & reading me well,

A gentle approach, being well-read.

I feel you know every thought inside my head,

Dreams, fantasies, all there is to me...And it’s only been 24 hours.

On a personal note, to get to know

All there is to know.

The growth

We both think we made

Some,

Only to come right back to the, same one...

State of mind we thought was so far behind,

But it’s the energy between us—

recognizes us,

Synergy, when met...we were there all along,

Same location, without a pin.

Listening in...

Acceptance of all that you share.

I’m here—

Once told that whatever came before us, didn’t care,

And I’m here, ready to know all of you.

Open arms for you

I want to know more about your journey,

All the mess inside of me, such a mess inside of me—

Magnetic to you, from the first day we locked eyes.

A blessing when I said hi, to this guy

Who, yeah,

Tells me he feels like...I’m the gem,

To him,

A rare blessing that he’s needed for life,

He sees better when we’re together—

Never to mishandle me, only focused on seeing me smile

helping me grow.

Flourish, Moorish, pour his.. heart out to me

And for him, I’ll ride

The wave, high or low tide.

It feels right,

Go alongside him,

Seeing where we elevate,

Surrendered,

To whatever takes place.

This love we begin to make, create—

something new from all that existed before our last mistake.
